Let’s understand all of these terms from the spheres of branding and design without further ado and expressions.
Logo book. Everything starts from it. A logo book is a document with a company logo and a detailed set of rules for its correct use.
Guidebook. (Or the guideline, they are the same). It is usually developed after the logo book and includes not only the rules for using the logo and its specifics, but also corporate fonts, colors, patterns and branded media. In a word – it is a guide to the use of corporate identity.
Brand book. Finally, the brand book proudly sits at the forefront, being a combination of the first two documents and also including deeper branding segments. These include company positioning, mission, philosophy, brand values, brand attributes, etc.
